PHHS student Teddy Comora releases first CD “Ready Teddy”

Eighteen year old, Teddy Comora, performed to a standing room only crowd this afternoon at Maxfields on Main, Boonton, to promote his newly released CD, “Ready Teddy.”

teddycomoraComora, a senior at Parsippany Hills High School has been studying music for years, starting to play the piano when he was in second grade.  He is under the mentorship of Grover Kemble, a Morris County musical legend. He has studied classical and jazz music, but finds jazz to be more rewarding.

Teddy recorded “Ready Teddy”, in September of 2013 at Mixolydian studios. The song features Teddy Comora on piano, Tim Metz on Bass and John Hvasta on Drums. The album was produced by Grover Kemble. To view the video of Teddy playing in the studio “There Will Never Be Another Your,” click here.

In 2012, Comora performed with Mark Rivera, (from Billy Joel Band) at the Mount Tabor Tabernacle Christmas Sing Along, To view the video click here.

Teddy Comora was crowned Mr. PHHS 2013 after an intense competition on February 1, 2013 at Parsippany Hills High School.

After high school, Comora plans to pursue his interests in science and math, in addition to music, at the American private Ivy League School, Cornell University.
