kmartparsippanyPatrol Sergeant Sean Jasiecki and Officers Christopher Cifaldi and Matthew LaManna responded to the K-Mart at 808 Route 46 at 9:50 p.m. on Wednesday, October 16 for a report of Shoplifting.ย  Upon their arrival, a store employee advised them that two male suspects were seen exiting the store at approximately 8:50 p.m., in possession of a large box.

The suspects carried the box toward the bushes in the direction of Route 46 West where the store employee heard a loud exhaust start and pull off in the direction of Route 46 West.

At 9:50 p.m., the employee observed one of the suspects at a checkout counter inside K-Mart. The suspect had a shopping cart containing a Craftsman air compressor ($119.99), a Plus Start car battery ($79.99), two Playstation 3 controllers ($54.99 each), a wireless Playstation 3 headset ($99.99) and a Black & Decker tool kit ($94.98).

The employee then confirmed that the suspects stole two 32โ€ HDTV LED televisions, valued at $280 each.

The suspects are described as two white males in their early to mid-thirties, approximately 5โ€™10โ€ tall, wearing jeans, boots and baseball caps.

The incident is currently under investigation.ย  Anyone with information regarding the incident or may have witnessed suspicious activity in the area should contact the Parsippany Police Investigative Division at (973) 263-4311 or email us at Crime_Tips@parpolice.com.
