COMMERCIAL BURGLARY 10/8/2013 5:45 PM
Officer Thomas Armenti and Detective Anthony Morelli responded to Sizzle Tans a 5:45 p.m. on Tuesday, October 8 located at 970 Tabor Road on a report of a burglary.
Upon arrival, the complainant stated that unknown actor(s) entered the business through the rear entrance and stole a $1200.00 Hewlett Packard Pavillian laptop computer and its connecting cords.
A Detective from the Morris County Sherriff’s Department’s Criminal Investigative Division responded to process the scene. The initial investigation resulted in determining that one male suspect and one female suspect were responsible for the burglary. Through a joint effort from surrounding jurisdictions, the female suspect was identified as Shakira L. Williams, 36, Newark.
Detective Morelli and Officer Jimmy Michel responded to Newark an apprehended Ms. Williams who was transported to the Parsippany Police Headquarters and processed. She was charged with Theft of Moveable Property, Burglary, and Conspiracy to Commit Burglary.
She was then transported to the Morris County Correctional Facility. The male was also identified as Sawab I. Wright, 42, of East Orange and warrants containing the previously mentioned charges were issued against Mr. Wright for his arrest.
