3rd Annual Car and Truck Show was a huge success


joshlevine14 year old Josh Levine is checking out this 1960 Convertible Cadillac owned by John Rylick. Josh will be a freshman at Parsippany High School in September, just graduating from Central Middle School.


Councilman Jonathan Nelson and Parsippany’s Rescue and Recovery member Louis Yuliano gets an opportunity to sit in the 1960 Chevy Corvette Convertible owned by Lake Hiawatha resident Charlie Bedi during the 3rd annual Car and Truck show held in Lanidex Plaza.

Parsippany Rescue and Recovery Unit (PR&R) and Lake Parsippany Fire Department held their 3rd annual car show at Lanidex Plaza off Parsippany Road on Sunday, August 18.

This event was open to anyone and spectators were invited to see classic and new cars, jeeps and trucks. In addition to, motorcycles and special apparatus. People who owned such vehicles were invited to register for the event. Prizes for best in class vehicles were be awarded. This event is held yearly to raise money for both departments respectively. Councilman Michael dePierro was the lucky winner of the 50/50 raffle, but donated all the money back to the Parsippany Rescue and Recovery Unit (PR&R) and Lake Parsippany Fire Department.
