Officer Jeffrey Papienuk was dispatched to an Elmwood Drive residence at 1:52 p.m. on Sunday, July 14 to investigate a report of a burglary to a residence.

Upon his arrival, he spoke with the caller who stated that he left the home at 8:00 a.m. and returned at 1:00 p.m.

He went into the back yard and noticed that a wooden cart had been moved to an area below a bedroom window. The window was open and a flat panel television was missing from the room.

Detective Edward Conklin responded to the scene to continue the investigation as the Morris County Sheriff’s Department processed the home for evidence.

The television was valued at $250.00. Anyone with information regarding the incident should contact the Parsippany Police Department at (973) 263-4341 or email us at [email protected].
