SIEL America is opening its first U.S. location in Parsippany. The international solar company anticipates moving into 27,800 square feet of flex warehouse space in the first quarter of 2013.
Headquartered in Milan, Italy, SIEL has locations in the United Kingdom, Germany, and Russia. The company assembles technology that converts DC current, obtained from solar panels, into usable AC current using a manufacturing process that relies on environmentally-friendly methods.
SIEL’s new plant will be located at 2 Cranberry Road. The two-story, 203,192-square-foot warehouse building was delivered in 1986 on 10.1 acres in the Eastern Morris Industrial submarket of Morris County, part of the Fox Hill Industrial Park.
Helene Strumeyer of the International Business Division at Newmark Associates represented SIEL in its selection of a U.S. location. The building is owned by Tulfra Realty LLC and The Hampshire Companies.
