Moms Club Donates to Parsippany Food Pantry

The MOMS Club of Parsippany-West donated $650 plus non-perishable food items to the Parsippany Food Pantry.

The monies were raised at a Mother's Market held in Denville.  Members of the club donated their gently used clothes, toys, and children's equipment to raise money for the food pantry which has had a hard time keeping themselves stocked this year primarily due to the current economic climate.

The donation was made in the form of gift certificates to Costco which allows the pantry to shop for what they need and buy in bulk to help stretch their dollars.

The MOMS Club of Parsippany-West is a non-profit organization that strives to provide support and social network for local moms. Currently the organization has over 40 members and is always open to new members.

Those interested in joining should contact the club at parsippanymomsclubwest@gmail.com.

The Parsippany Food Pantry is located at the Parsippany Community Center and is open Monday - Friday from 9am to 5pm.  Call (973) 263-7163 for more information.  Donations are always welcome, with the most needed items being canned and dry goods. Supermarket gift cards are also readily accepted.
