Donation of Canned Items Are Always Needed
Parsippany Emergency Food Pantry is seeking donations.
Most needed items are canned goods, such as fruit, vegetables, meat, fish, poultry and soups; dry goods such as cereal, pasta, rice, dried potatoes, peanut butter, jelly, tomato sauce, tea, coffee, hot chocolate, fruit juice, powdered or evaporated milk, condiments such as salad dressing, mayonnaise, mustard and ketchup.
Supermarket gift cards are also accepted.
Parsippany Emergency Food Pantry is located at the Parsippany Community Center, 1130 Knoll Road, Lake Hiawatha and is open Monday through Friday, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Any Parsippany resident who needs supplemental food can call (973) 263-7163 or (973) 263-7351 to pick up a ready-made bag of groceries.
