New Jersey Natural Gas Presents $50,000 Gift to CCM  “Forward” Campaign

RANDOLPH — The County College of Morris (CCM) Foundation is honored to have received a generous gift from New Jersey Natural Gas (NJNG) in support of its 50th Anniversary “Forward” campaign. Launched in May, the historic multi-million dollar capital campaign is focused on funding programs, facility upgrades and scholarships.

Thomas Hayes, director of customer and community relations of NJNG and board member of the CCM Foundation, presented Dr. Anthony J. Iacono, president of CCM, Katie Olsen, executive director of the CCM Foundation, with a gift of $50,000 to be divided between the Paragano Family Foundation Healthcare Simulation Center and the college’s Investor’s Bank Cyber Security Suite.

“NJNG has been an extraordinary philanthropic partner,” said Iacono. “Its commitment and leadership to CCM is an example of corporate responsibility to the community it serves.  We could not be more grateful for this leadership gift to the 50th Anniversary “Forward” campaign.”

NJNG has been supporting CCM for over a decade.

“For 50 years, the County College of Morris has been helping people reach their educational goals, achieve their dreams and enrich the world around us,” said Thomas Hayes, director of Customer and Community Relations at New Jersey Natural Gas. “New Jersey Natural Gas is proud to share this commitment and support the CCM’s mission. Together, we are helping to create a stronger tomorrow for future generations.”

The “Forward” campaign is also focused on raising funds for an enhanced Culinary Arts Training facility, the Advanced Engineering and Manufacturing Center, student scholarships and a Faculty Innovation Fund.  With a goal of $2.1 million, the campaign in its first year raised $1.8 million. The Foundation’s purpose is to raise funds that allow the college to maintain the highest quality academic programs and support services for students.
