Daytop Works to Remove Stigma of Mental Illness and Substance Use Disorders

When the “I” is Replaced by “We”, Illness Becomes Wellness

MORRIS COUNTY — On Thurs., May 10, Daytop New Jersey was joined by Daytop Academy students, faculty, friends, and supporters including Morris County Sheriff James Gannon, the Mendham Borough Police Department, and representatives from the NJ Children’s System of Care, to recognize International Children’s Mental Health Awareness Day by creating a giant heart with green umbrellas on its front lawn.

Daytop is here to help, and teaches the importance of removing the stigma attached to mental health issues and substance use disorders.

If you or someone you love suffers from a substance use disorder, call 1.888.432.9867 or click here. This event was sponsored by TrueTox Laboratories.
