Knollwood School  Coin Challenge

parsippany focusPARSIPPANY — Knollwood Book Fair Committee held a coin challenge for the students to raise money for additional classroom books. The contest was held Monday, October 9 to Friday, October 13. Students  from each classroom brought in loose change and placed it in classroom coin jars. At the end of the week the coins were tallied up using the coin counter courtesy of Valley National Bank of Parsippany.

This year the school raised $570.19 worth of loose change for classroom books. The winning class, Mrs. Gundlah’s 2nd grade class raised $75.08. They will receive a special visit from the Principal, Mrs. Rosa where she will have lunch with the students and share a story.

Knoolwood Book Fair Committee of the PTA would like to thank all who donated and Valley National Bank for continuously assisting in counting the coins by classroom free of charge so that we can maximize our donations.
