Boy Scouts of America announces 2017 Parsippany Good Scout Award

PARSIPPANY — Boy Scouts of America, Patriots’ Path Council will honor local citizens at the 2017 Parsippany Good Scout Award Dinner to be held on the evening of Tuesday, May 9 at Embassy Suites starting at 6:30 p.m.

This years honorees are Frank Cahill; Tony Cerbo III, Cindy Cooper, and Joe Cerbo; Karen DeChristopher; Frank Iannetta, MD, FAAFP; and Casey (Kaushik) Parikh.

The event recognizes these seven outstanding citizens for their community service, as evidenced by their leadership and interests within the Parsippany community, and for their embodiment of the values of the century old Scout Oath and Law in their personal and professional lives.

Frank Cahill is the Publisher of the Parsippany Focus.

Tony Cerbo III is the President of Cerbo’s Parsippany Greenhouse; Cindy Cooper and Joe Cerbo are the Vice Presidents.

Karen DeChristopher is the Division Marketing and Customer Relations Administrator for Western Pest Services.

Frank Iannetta

Frank Iannetta, MD, FAAFP is the Associate Medical Director of Vanguard Medical Group, Montville.

Casey (Kaushik) Parikh is the past Chairman of the Parsippany Planning Board and the retired Director of Data Communications at ADT/TYCO.

The area is a part of the Patriots’ Path Council, Boy Scouts of America, which serves 17,000 youth in over 400 Scouting units in communities like ours throughout Morris, Middlesex, Somerset, Sussex, and Union Counties.
