PARSIPPANY — Teens who like adventure, the outdoors, community service, Native American heritage, and more are welcome to join Venturing Crew 890 for their March climbing event. Parsippany Venturing Crew 892 will hold an open house for teens from Parsippany-Troy Hills and the surrounding areas on Sunday, March 12 from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Randolph Climbing Center.
The event costs $15.00 per climber. Those who attend will learn what Venturing is all about including the leadership experiences, high adventure trips, community service efforts, and more.
The Randolph Climbing Center is located at 3 Middlebury Boulevard, Randolph.
No previous Scouting or climbing experience is required. Parents are invited to meet the Crew leadership and learn what Venturing is all about. Venturing is a coed program for all youth ages 14-20, featuring social activities, community service, camping and outdoor activities, team building and leadership training.
All youth 14-20, including active Girl Scouts and Boy Scouts are invited to attend. Scouts who belong to a troop can also join the Venturing Crew at the same time, and it won’t interfere with your troop activities.
