MORRIS COUNTY — Homeless Solutions has kicked off its Hand Up Movement to end homelessness with a big splash in the Crossroads of the World – Times Square in NYC.  The non-profit is launching a Hand Up Matching Challenge:  For every new “Like” that Homeless Solutions receives  to its Facebook page, $1.00 will be donated toward Homeless Solutions’ shelter programs and services by an HSI donor.  To “Like” Homeless Solutions Inc.’s Facebook page, click here before Giving Tuesday November 29 to help reach their goal of 3,000 Likes.

One out of every 30 Americans is homeless, and Homeless Solutions is raising awareness of this national crisis through its Hand Up Movement.  The organization was presented with an extraordinary opportunity to share its message in Times Square, where it will draw attention to the many faces of homelessness.  Learn how to be part of the Movement or watch a video of the 10-second billboard by clicking here.

Dan McGuire, chief executive officer of Homeless Solutions, Inc., commented, “It’s our goal to draw attention to the realities of homelessness and how hard-working people from a cross section of our population lean on Homeless Solutions during the darkest times in their lives.  By supporting our Hand Up Movement with a Facebook Like or a donation, people can make a difference in the lives of those in desperate need.”

Over the next several months, corporate partners, private supporters and grass roots supporters will host photo opps and social media activities in front of the electronic billboard where the Homeless Solutions ad is running in Times Square at 1500 Times Square at Broadway and West 43rd Street across from the NASDAQ electronic billboard.
