Driver flips truck; leaves scene of accident; issued 7 summons

The vehicle was towed from the scene by Ajaco Towing

PARSIPPANY — When Parsippany-Troy Hills Police Officer Jaime Mendez arrived on the scene of the crash, at approximately 11:00 p.m. on Tuesday, February 10, the 2001 Toyota Tacoma was against a snow bank flipped on the drivers side.

The investigation revealed the vehicle was travelling southbound on the Route 53 ramp to Route 10 West. The driver lost control of the vehicle, spinning the vehicle in a clockwise direction and running off the road to the right, crashing the front drivers side of the vehicle against the snow bank on the southbound lane causing the vehicle to flip on its drivers side and coming to its final resting position.

The driver left the scene prior to the arrival of police.  When contacted by Parsippany Police she stated she was driving the vehicle, and that she abandoned the vehicle to seek medical attention.

The driver, Jessica Rosewall, 28, Fairfield, was issued seven summons for driver’s license suspended, failure to report accident, leaving scene of accident, abandonment of a motor vehicle, delaying traffic, careless driving and failure to exhibit documents.

The vehicle is owned by a Boonton resident.
